Saturdays little wip!

I haven;t had much time to stitch in the past few days so this is my wip on my monthly SAL piece. The camera hasn't picked up the colour of the fabric very well it is actually a lovely bright green. Once again it is time to play with my stash and decide what to do next. I have no idea what I want to do. I have plenty to choose from but on browsing a lot of blogs I have fallen in love with designs by Little House Needlework,Blackbird Designs,Plum Street Samplers, Country cottage needlearts and many others. I would love to stitch some of these designs and add them to my stash so if there is anyone who has any of these designs for trade please contact me.

While shopping last night I couldn't resist these cute baskets from TKMaxx. I thought they would be great to put the kids easter eggs in or all those stitching pillows that I have made over the years that just lie hidden in the back of the cupboard. I am so fed up of doing all this stitching and not having any of it out in display. My hubby doesn;t know it yet but I am determined that I am going to get some of my finishes framed and hung on the wall this year. I have put too much love and attention into them to let them lie in a box forever. Happy Stitching. Hugs!

What a cute WIP! Love it!! You named some of my favorite designers as well. I love all of those, along with Carriage House Samplings. :) Those baskets are very cute, very spring-y. They will look great filled with smalls. I know what you mean about wanting to display and frame your needlework. That is one of my goals this year too... framing. You are so right about putting so much love and work into it not to enjoy it in your home. :)

What a darling WIP!

It is SO HARD to get fabric to photograph true. Annoying, isn't it?

I love your WIP, Lainey. It's so sweet. And the baskets will make an adorable display for your pillows. And get your stuff framed. Beautiful stitching deserves to be where everyone can see and admire it.

What a cute little WIP--love the spring colors in it!

I'll have to check my local TJ Maxx and see if they have those baskets. Think your idea of displaying your little cross stitch pillows in them is perfect :)

Thankyou for visiting my blog Elaine and the lovley comment you left. Oh display your work,my fil did some fabulous work into his 80s and when he died we had them framed and given to various members of the family. He had them rolled up in a suitcase under the bed. So take note and DISPLAY! I love a lot of the designers you mentioned too ,just too much stash for my lifetime and I still buy more !!
Love work you are currently doing .Hugs
