Hello Again!

Hello again! Thank you for visiting me I do appreciate you coming by and leaving me a comment. I'm slowly reconnecting with people and it's lovely to hear that I have been missed.
I've been doing a fun challenge on Facebook this week where you share one piece of your favourite needlework for 7 days.  It was quite difficult to chose but it brought back so many memories off gifts and exchanges pieces that I had long forgotten about. I am on day 5 today. Here are the ones that I have shared so far.

It was a bit of a rush but I did manage to finish my January Ornament on Sunday 31st. I was so pleased with the colour changes and I just adore the face on this Reindeer. New York Dreamer was a new designer to me. If her designs were sold in the UK I would definitely buy more. One down 11 to go.

My choice for Februarys Ornament SAL will be Lizzie Kate's cute No Peeking. I had already started this in December last year so I should hopefully have it finished on time. June, Lynda and Colleen I hope to see your Ornament finishes soon. I am going to re-open the Ornament SAL blog that I used to have maybe it will entice a few others to join us. All you need to do is stitch a Christmas themed Ornament each month. The design will be of your own choosing. Then on the last day of the month post your Ornament.

As you can see I have made good progress on my Home of a Needleworker. I'm a little unsure about the orange colour that I have chosen and was going to change it to pink or teal. I asked a few people on Instagram and they loved the orange. What do you guys think?
The letters are actually a deep purple and not a blue as it shows in the photo.

Oops!! I've just spotted I never finished off the letter d will have to get that sorted.
I had some money left from Christmas so I  treated myself too a few goodies from Sewandso this week.. I have a couple of new projects in mind but I will share them with you next time.

I am really enjoying my stitching again but my furry companion is not too happy about Every time I sit down I find him lying at my feet squeak, squeak, squeaking a noisy toy or he dumps it in my lap. If I don't give him my full attention he then sits down and stares and starts his doggy language for get up Mum play with me! He's also been known to use his nose to nudge my stitching right out my! I need to get him trained that he needs to nap when it's Mums chill out time.
Hope everyone is having a good week. Happy Stitches!

Your pup is adorable! Have you seen the no noise squeaker toys for dogs? They still squeak, but for dogs' ears only. I enjoyed seeing your favorite pieces. Congratulations on getting your January ornament finished! What color did you use for the deer? Nice start on your February ornament.

Thanks Robin! We have gone through a number of the no squeak toys. Cupar is a chewer and we have yet to find a toy that he won't chew threw. Thankfully he doesn't tend to eat the squeaker or stuffing. Just likes to put holes in them. We have a large bag awaiting Mums needle and
I used DMC 841 on the Reindeer. Thank you for coming by and leaving me a lovely comment.

Superb collection of little ornaments, love the bookmark fabric around the pillow, that's a clever idea.
Your little reindeer is adorable with the pastel coloured parcels he is carrying.
I too like the orange, give it a little zing!

Lovely to see you blogging again. The FB challenge was so much fun, I loved seeing all the needlework in my newsfeed every day. It seemed like everyone I knew was doing it!

Remember the Hallowe'en Ornie Blog? You'll be pleased to know I carried on under a new address, it's continued to be a great success. You'll find the link on my blog. Also, Kaye started up a Christmas themed one so if you want to join in there you'll find that on my sidebar too.
We both loved the idea of having a theme for each month and seeing how people interpret it.

Lots of lovely stitching Lainey. It is so good to see you back although I am so behind on visiting blogs and am trying to catch up today! I think Patchwork Rabbit started to sell some New York Dreamer charts. Maybe she could get some in that you like?

Love the look on Cupar's face!
