Nothing much happening.

Nothing much happening here really it has been a quiet week for me. I've only been working three mornings so I have had quite a lot of time to stitch. I am nearly finished an exchange piece and have made quite a bit of progress on Willow House by BBD.

I am looking forward to going through my charts and books this week to select which Christmas designs I will be stitching this year. Christmas is my favourite theme to stitch, especially snowmen, I could quite easily stitch nothing else. This year I decided I would be good for the first half of the year I wouldn;t do any Christmas themed stitching. Now, I can;t wait to get started.

Patti is having a surprise give-away. Please pop over and enter http://tapestry-of-dreams.blogspot.com/2010/06/secret-giveaway.html It is fun to read what everyones dream gift would be.

I have no great plans for the week-end. I am looking forward to watching the British Grand Prix (Go Jenson!) and the Final of the World Cup (Go Holland!) while I stitch, stitch, stitch. Hugs!

I love the colors on Willow House. So very pretty. And isn't nice to occasionally have a slow weekend. It gives you time to recharge your batteries.

Very nice progress on Willow House. And the teacher's apple from your last post is a real gorgeous piece. Enjoy your stitching while watching the soccer world cup final.
I so loved to see all the roses and other flowers that grow in your garden.

I love how Willow House is coming along, especially with that blue house. I was kind of scratching my head a little about looking for Christmas designs, but realized that it's July already and you never can start too early on stitching designs for the holidays. It will be here before we know it!

What a beauty Willow House will be, Elaine--love those colors! I am happiest stitching Christmas designs, too, so I know just how you feel!

Your WIP is progressing very nicely :)

And I am glad I am not the only one wishing to stitch Christmas pieces all the year :) I have to admit I have done a few already this year. Some years during Christmas holidays I already start to stitch for the next year ;)

Have a nice weekend!

Oh - I'm so happy to find someone else who follows F1 and stitches too! This can't be a large group but I'm sure it is a fun bunch. Your stitching looks wonderful. I love BBD too. And thanks for the kind comments you've left on my blog. It makes me smile from ear to ear.

Would you do me a BIG favour? I have loads of evenweave etc, and am trying to de-stash - if you send me your details - at too_busy_to_stitch @ yahoo dot co dot uk I'd happily destash some evenweave of various colours your way....

PS, really DON'T want anything in return - am truly trying to destash, and don't want to put things in bins :)
